Intimate, elegant, friendly and beautiful, Tiger Hornsby is considered one of Newcastle’s best cocktail bars. Situated on the iconic Newcastle Quayside, Tiger Hornsby represents a new take on the fantastic bars that enriched that part of the city from the 70’s through to the early millennium years.
One venue that is remembered with particular fondness is the legendary Julie’s nightclub, which was created within the same four walls as Tiger Hornsby. We feel the magic that existed in Julie’s still captures our customers today, and we have many regular customers who claim to have found love in both Julies and in Tiger Hornsby! From our award winning cocktails to our superb resident DJ’s and live musicians, we are confident you will have an amazing experience at Tiger Hornsby.
We said it before and we will say it again… “The key to a great bar is a great drinks menu!” (As well as dedicated staff, a gorgeous decor, brilliant music and lovely customers. But we’ve got all that sorted too.)
We’re always hard at work to continuously improve, progress and curate a seasonal menu that is unique to Tiger Hornsby, whilst remaining true to the fundamentals of what a great cocktail menu is all about.
So every now and then, we gather as team and have a good old cocktail tasting session, which is very hard work, and often ends up with a lot of sore heads, but some brilliant new ideas!
